"Beyond some standard technique work including: Auditioning, scene study, and a little improv, we will touch on basic characterization with a strong emphasis on foundational work for all aspects of performance and story telling. These multiple tools will be highlighted from monologues, short dialogue work and two person scene work. Hopefully by our last class we will all have a basic understanding in our approach to acting as well as a few tricks to utilize when feeling lost in this ever expanding industry!.

Venn’s obsession with visual storytelling began in childhood spending endless hours watching, absorbing and being informed by the wide variety of human experiences shown on TV and in Movies. After winning a model search, Venn flew to Europe to begin a modelling career and started appearing in TV commercials. Eventually landing in Los Angeles, Venn started studying acting and appeared in both commercials, films, and TV shoes like Melrose Place. After living in Los Angeles for a few years, Venn returned home to Canada and has lived and worked in Toronto and Vancouver. Completing a full time acting program at Vancouver Acting School to deepen their skills, and appearing on The Flash, Riverdale and numerous TV commercials.
Venn has also stepped into the directors chair for a short film and a full length feature.
Venn's classes are a mix of humour, insight, individual focus and always focus on providing a strong foundation for new or experienced actors.
